Sustainability is a matter truly close to our hearts. Beauty is in the DNA of our cosmetics company, and we want to preserve the beauty of the Earth. True to Jane Goodall's philosophy: "What you do, makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make," we embrace sustainability holistically and authentically.

We want to be actively involved in sustainable change and leave behind a livable planet for ourselves and for future generations. Even though this represents a great challenge for us as a small, medium-sized company, we are moving forward step by step and setting large and small levers in motion to minimize the impact of our company on the environment. We are guided by our values of "transparency, responsibility, and innovation."

Sustainability Mission

Everything we do starts with sustainability. For us, this means not only renunciation, but above all enrichment. Hands-on for our future viability and future generations.

  • 100% use of FSC paper for folding cartons
  • Corporate Citizenship: We are proud to employ numerous home workers from the region in our company.
  • Green electricity & solar panels: Since 2022, we have been sourcing green electricity at our company premises, and since 2008, we have been feeding self-generated energy into the grid via our solar panels on the roof.
  • E-charging stations (17 charging points in total)
  • Emissions: By calculating our emissions, we gain a transparent overview of the biggest influencing factors. This allows us to understand where we can start to reduce emissions.

Sustainability Report

In our 2024 Sustainability Report, we inform you about our current activities as well as the milestones we have already achieved and those we plan for the future. For us, sustainability is a journey that will never end, but on which we align ourselves a little more sustainably each day. We look forward to continuing this journey with you!

Optimization of our product packaging

Our products are at the heart of our company. That's why we are particularly focused on optimizing our packaging for greater sustainability. We prioritize the recyclability of our packaging, increased use of recycled content, a circular economy, and minimal resource consumption. All white tubes (without pumps) of our personal care products have a recyclability of over 90%.

Quality standards

The quality of our ingredients has always been particularly important to us. Our range includes more than 100 vegan products. In addition, at least 80% of all products are manufactured in Germany, and our product development team is always looking for high-quality and effective ingredients.

Our aim is to avoid controversially discussed ingredients that have a negative impact on the environment and health. To achieve this, we combine natural plant extracts and highly effective ingredients.

Ingredients and Packaging Example Sensitive Pro

We have paid special attention to our Sensitive Pro product line. We refer to this as "Clean Beauty" because it was developed under stricter conditions that go beyond the law. All cosmetic products in this line are free of silicones, sulfates, mineral oil, parabens, PEGs, microplastics, aluminum, chemical filters, palm oil, and nanoparticles.

Apart from the climate neutrality of our folding cartons, we have used product packaging made from recycled plastic for the first time in the Sensitive Pro line, thus avoiding new plastic. For packaging where this is not yet possible, we are finding more sustainable alternatives. Among other things, we also consistently omit packaging elements that we can do without from a brand and product perspective. This applies, for example, to package inserts. For MEN products and the ALOE VERA series, we omit all folding cartons. In addition, we use 100% FSC-certified cardboard for decorative and personal care products.

We have converted our 50 ml cream jars to an innovative refill system! The new refill jar can accommodate all 12 facial creams in our range as refills.

By reusing the jar, 46% less cardboard and 80% less plastic are used when purchasing a refill for the first time.
